New Mexico Earth Pigment Watercolor Palette - Seconds

These palettes are offered as “seconds,” meaning they have small imperfections in the wood, such as cracks or surface irregularities. These flaws are purely cosmetic and do not affect the quality or usability of the paints. Each palette still functions beautifully and carries the same handmade, earth-based pigments.

Please note that palettes are selected and shipped at random. The photos shown are representative of the types of imperfections you may receive, but you will not be able to choose a specific palette.

This handmade watercolor paint set was crafted with earth pigments from across New Mexico. Each color was created by foraging for natural materials, then using a mortar and pestle to crush them into a fine dust. This pigment is then blended with gum arabic, creating vibrant, ‬earth-toned watercolors that reflect the beauty and unique hues of our desert surroundings‭. ‬

Each paint color is mixed and poured by hand. Small imperfections such as cracks in the surface are a normal part of the process.
